Gateway Wilson Disease Clinical Trial Website Homepage Design

Wilson Disease is a genetic disorder that causes excess copper to build up in the liver and brain. The disease is caused by mutations in a gene called ATP7B. VTX-801 is a new gene therapy treatment developed by Vivet Therapeutics for Wilson Disease treatment.

Boston Web Partners, a leader in
clinical trial website design for rare diseases, was approached by Vivet Therapeutics to help them create a multi language website presence to increase enrollment of new subjects for its Wilson disease gene therapy study.

Boston Web Partners went straight to work with a kick-off meeting with the client stakeholders and conducted a mini-SWOT analysis to better understand the web visitor personas and journey development. Design look and feel was discussed along with what digital asset would be needed. Website wireframes were developed along with graphic icons to help relay eligibility. Custom-designed maps for the US and Europe were also created to indicate where the clinical sites across the United States, UK, France, Germany and Denmark are taking place. Through a stepped approach, the new website was developed in just under two months and ready for IRB/EC review,

SEO best practices were implemented to help the site to rank higher in Google searches over time. While SEO is taking hold, a Google Ads campaign was launched to help drive web visitor traffic to the site immediately. Boston Web Partners is proud to be a part of the biopharma website design landscape to promote a better tomorrow.
